During the school year, children's lives are so structured and scheduled. Wouldn't it be great to give your child a break from the normal routine? The Nanny Agency, Inc. offers a wonderful solution - a summer nanny who will come to your house on a full time or part-time basis. A summer nanny can plan fun activities and outings for your children as well as take children to activities you may already have scheduled.

Most summer nannies are college students or teachers who are interested in caring for children during the summer months.

Nannies' salaries vary depending on experience, education, hours needed, number of children and responsibilities. In central Illinois, most summer nannies earn between $9-$12 per hour.

Depending on the number of hours and the salary you are offering, you may also be responsible for paying household employment taxes which add between 9-11% to your total salary cost. We will provide information so you can determine how you want to handle the taxes, if applicable.

  2. Initial Meeting with The Nanny Agency, Inc. At this meeting we will address your questions and clarify information on forms and job description you have completed.
  3. Interviewing candidates. The agency will share information about the family and the job to prospective nannies and likewise will share information about prospective nannies with families. If there is a mutual interest, the agency will arrange interviews between nannies and families. Most interviews take place in the family's home at a time that is mutually agreeable.
  4. Placement of a nanny. After the family has made an offer to the nanny and the nanny has accepted, the family, nanny and agency representative have one final meeting to ensure that all aspects of the job description/offer are clear and acceptable to both the nanny and family. At that time the placement fee is paid to the agency.

The agency's placement fee is paid only after a summer nanny has been hired by the family and covers a period up to 3 months.
Summer Nanny Placement fee $350

There is a money back guarantee on the agency's fee for a trial period of 30 days. If the family or nanny decides during the first 30 days that the placement is not going to work, the placement fee is refunded minus 25% of the nanny's gross wages paid during this period. After 30 days, the placement fee is not refundable but can be used as a credit toward another placement for the remainder of the summer.
